Meet Our Intake Specialist — Nancy Rivas
Nancy Rivas joined Abogada Vida as an Intake Specialist and quickly became an essential part of our client experience. Often the very first voice clients hear when they reach out, Nancy guides each caller through the intake process with warmth and professionalism. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure every client feels heard, supported, and directed toward the right resources from the very first interaction.
Nancy’s passion for immigration law comes from her own lived experiences navigating the system. Having faced those challenges herself, she deeply understands the stress, uncertainty, and emotions clients bring to the table. Before joining Abogada Vida, she spent years working in community services, connecting people to resources and building trust through compassion and clear communication. Those skills, paired with her empathy, make her a strong advocate for our clients
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Nancy bridges cultural and language barriers with ease. Born in Mexico and raised in the U.S., she brings a personal perspective to her work that helps clients feel truly understood. Outside of the office, Nancy enjoys reading, making jewelry, and going on long walks. She also loves cooking, especially her favorite dish, Green Chicken Enchiladas.
For Nancy, the most rewarding part of her role is knowing she is part of a team that changes lives. She believes no one should face the immigration process alone and always reminds clients: “Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Never give up.”
