Meet Our Attorney, Mahsa Mohkamkar Your Dedicated Advocate for a New Vida in the U.S.

Admitted to practice in New York and authorized to represent clients in immigration matters nationwide, Attorney Mahsa Mohkamkar is a steadfast ally for immigrants, minors, and vulnerable individuals. With more than seven years of exclusive experience in U.S. immigration law, she approaches each case with both legal precision and heartfelt commitment. As an immigrant herself, Mahsa understands the challenges and fears her clients face. This personal insight fuels her mission: to guide individuals and families through the complexities of the immigration system and help them build a safe, stable, and hopeful future in the United States.

Mahsa earned her LL.M. from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona and is licensed to practice law in New York. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and an associate member of the Lehigh County Bar Association, the Berks County Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of immigration law, from family-based petitions and fiancé(e) visas to Special Immigrant Juvenile cases, VAWA and T visa applications, asylum, green card processes, citizenship, and responses to USCIS Requests for Evidence (RFE) and Notices of Intent to Deny.

Her passion for advocacy is especially evident in her work with children, survivors of domestic violence, and others in vulnerable situations. Beyond her legal practice, Mahsa serves as a foster parent, providing love, stability, and safety to children in need. This experience deepens her resolve to fight for the rights of minors and help families achieve security. Known for her unwavering determination, she approaches each case as if it were her own, fiercely protecting her clients’ rights and pursuing every possible path to success. Her dedication has led to remarkable victories, beginning with securing T visas for survivors of labor and sex trafficking, and extending to overturning wrongful inadmissibility determinations, securing citizenship for clients facing complex legal obstacles, and preserving lawful permanent residency for those with old convictions.

Mahsa’s clients appreciate her clear communication, personal attention, and genuine commitment to their immigration journey. Guided by the highest ethical standards, Mahsa provides clients with clear communication, personal attention, and a genuine commitment to their immigration journey, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout the process.

Outside the firm, Mahsa enjoys surfing, exploring new cuisines, traveling, and experiencing cultural traditions from around the world. For her, immigration law is more than a profession; it is a calling to stand beside those who are building their futures. When you choose Attorney Mahsa Mohkamkar, you gain not only a compassionate advocate, but also a tireless fighter dedicated to guiding you toward a brighter future and a new vida.
